Tasting Note
In this elegant bottle you’ll discover ample character with layered hints of mulberry, blueberry and blackcurrant supported by light oak, vanilla and herbal-ness. The vibrant body, with a touch of brown sugar and light spice, is wrapped with soft tannins. Don’t forget to share because you’re sure to want this all for yourself.

Service: Decant 30 minutes. Serve at 16°C - 18°C.
Vinification
Vines are at least 25 years old. Manual harvest into 16kg baskets. Hand-selected clusters. Flesh is removed before fermentation. Fermentation at 24-26°C in stainless steel tanks. 1+ years on French and American oak. Estate bottled.
Climate and Soil
Typically 8-22°C. Lows 4-5°C; highs 26-27°C. Humidity 60-85%. 11-13.5 hrs sun per day. 850mm rain per year. Harvest in July. Sandy soil; fine and coarse sand. Good drainage. High in mineral content, especially iron; soil has a dull red appearance. Weakly alkaline. Natural fertiliser added during winter.
