The Hong Kong SAR (HKSAR) Government has further relaxed the COVID-19 rules for inbound travellers by lifting the amber code restrictions. Those from overseas and Taiwan entering via Hong Kong International Airport with negative PCR test result can freely access any premises upon their arrival, including participating in exhibitions and conferences. Inbound travellers are still required to undergo nucleic acid tests on Day 2 and daily RATs for five days, and show vaccination records before entering restaurants. In addition, travellers going to the Mainland China and Macao are no longer required to undergo a PCR test at the border, but need to obtain a negative test result 48 hours before departure. With many pandemic-related travel restrictions remaining in place, exhibitors and buyers may have difficulty joining the Hong Kong Baby Products Fair scheduled for 27-30 April 2021.
To assist exhibitors and buyers in overcoming the business challenges brought by the pandemic, and after consultation with industry representatives and key stakeholders, the HKTDC has decided to consolidate seven of its trade fairs scheduled for April 2021 - Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, Hong Kong Baby Products Fair, Hong Kong Houseware Fair, Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair, Hong Kong Fashion Week, Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, and Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair (co-organised with CIEC Exhibition Company (HK) Limited), into a sourcing event entitled “HKTDC International Sourcing Show”. This will be held in digital and physical formats:
• Digital fair date: 17 March - 29 July 2021
With this arrangement, industry players will be able to use the HKTDC’s dedicated online exhibition platform to attract early interest with business matching and virtual meetings in March, and to follow on with more business opportunities from the physical fair in July when the pandemic will hopefully subside.
We believe the online-offline model of International Sourcing Show will create synergy, and assist exhibitors and buyers to make early arrangements to cope with the post-pandemic “new normal”.

In view of the pandemic situation, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government has implemented various disease prevention and control measures and restrictions on incoming visitors, while many countries and regions have also issued travel alerts and implemented quarantine measures. These mean that overseas exhibitors and buyers will have great difficulty joining the HKTDC Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair and the HKTDC Hong Kong Baby Products Fair, originally scheduled for 11-14 January 2021.
After consultation with industry representatives and key stakeholders, a decision has been made to reschedule the above two fairs to 27-30 April 2021 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, coinciding with the HKTDC Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair. The concurrent Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair and DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong, jointly organised by the HKTDC and CIEC Exhibition Company (HK) Ltd, will be held at AsiaWorld-Expo.
Meanwhile, the business matching and virtual meeting features offered by the HKTDC Autumn Sourcing Week丨ONLINE* (16 to 27 November 2020) will continue to assist global exhibitors and buyers overcome some of the challenges during these trying times. When the pandemic situation improves and circumstances allow, the HKTDC will resume physical exhibitions to help global buyers and sellers do business.
