With a history of more than 50 years, our company has factories in Mainland China and Switzerland to produce OEM watches which are exported mainly to Europe and the Middle East. As a socially responsible company, sustainability is crucial. About two to three years ago, we launched green watches by using recycled steel to produce watch cases and biodegradable materials such as apple peel and pineapple peel to produce watch straps. We are promoting our green watches and our OEM capabilities at this year’s Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair. The launch of the Green Solutions Suppliers label helps to attract international buyers to visit our booth. Buyers from the Middle East and Southeast Asia are very interested in our green watches. Business atmosphere is better this year. We expect new orders generated by this year’s fair will increase by 10-20% over last year. About 10-15% of the new orders will come from green watches.

ANPASSA Watch Company
Hong Kong
ANPASSA announces the launch of a new mechanical watch incorporating AR technology to present a unique Kowloon Walled City look at this year’s Salon de TIME. Tech watches will be a growing segment in the industry. Due to the popularity of the movie entitled ‘Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In’, our new tech watch has attracted a lot of attention from both trade and public visitors. A celebrity from the local entertainment industry and a Taiwanese buyer are interested in our new technology and going to develop crossover collaboration with us. They want us to combine our AR technology with their design themes in the production of OEM watches that can tell their own stories. Another buyer from Malaysia is interested in our customised tourbillon watches which look like art pieces. We expect to close several deals after the fair. We are happy to see that Salon de TIME is fully open to the public for free admission for the first time, allowing public visitors and watch lovers to see the latest designs from both local and international brands. We expect our onsite sales turnover will exceed HK$100,000.

Francéclat
France
To help French timepieces companies develop new markets and promote their unique and iconic designs, Francéclat has set up the French Pavilion at Salon de TIME for the third time. Due to good feedback from last year’s French exhibitors, we have expanded the French Pavilion by bringing seven brands to this year’s fair as compared to three brands last year. Salon de TIME provides an ideal platform for them to develop the global market especially the Asian market. This year French exhibitors have met with buyers from many places such as Finland, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Mainland China, Switzerland and Vietnam. Click2Match is a good initiative that can help exhibitors make new contacts and bring potential clients to them. To expand the Asian market, we need to be here and hope to further expand the French Pavilion next year.

Dailywin Watch Products Mfg Ltd (SAGA)
Hong Kong
The SAGA brand was born in the US in 1950 and acquired by Dailywin in 1987. We formed partnerships with new distributors from the Middle East, Russia and Saudi Arabia through our first-time participation in last year’s Salon de TIME. We have returned to this year’s fair to further promote our brand to international buyers and develop new markets. So far, we have connected with new buyers from India, Kazakhstan and Southeast Asia. It is very likely that 5 to 10 new buyers will become our distributors. Separately, five existing distributors from India, Russia, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam have placed onsite orders. The full opening of Salon de TIME to the public is good news. We’ll sell our watches to public visitors during the last two days of the fair. We have received good feedback from local consumers and some of them have already reserved their favorite models. We expect onsite sales will reach HK$100,000. It is a successful show. We’ll definitely come back next year.

To look for distributors in emerging markets such as ASEAN, Solvil et Titus, a Swiss classic brand, has made its first appearance in Salon de TIME. We are selling Solvil et Titus watches in our watch retail stores in the Greater Bay Area, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. In view of market changes, we are keen to look for distributors in emerging markets instead of setting up watch retail stores in these markets. So far, we have met with 40-50 new buyers from different places such as Egypt, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Russia and Turkey. We are confident in choosing the right distributors and entering new markets such as India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan and Turkey through Salon de TIME. We’ll definitely return to the fair next year. As the fair is fully open to the public, it provides an excellent opportunity for us to promote our brand and sell our products to local consumers.
Amarildo Pilo

Pilo & Co SA

Salon de TIME provides the best platform for Swiss watch brands to develop the global market. Ten Swiss brands are participating in the Swiss Independent Watchmaking Pavilion (SIWP) this year. Pilo, the organiser of the SIWP, has launched Corleone Evoluzione Superleggera, a unique wristwatch with a domed and bevelled sapphire crystal, an ultra-light alloy, a meteorite dial and an automatic chronograph movement. Buyers are surprised to see this technical and high-class wristwatch that other brands do not produce. I have met with more new buyers from European countries such as Germany, Italy, Poland and Switzerland. The Click2Match platform is fantastic because it has helped me to connect with new buyers from Bahrain, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. So far, I have found potential distributors from Bahrain, Indonesia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and Vietnam. The full opening of Salon de TIME to the public is an excellent arrangement, allowing me to show my watches to final clients and hear their feedback.I’ll sell my watches to public visitors on the last day of the fair and hope to achieve HK$180,000 in sales turnover.

At this year’s fair, we have got in touch with international buyers from Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia as well as watch manufacturers in Hong Kong. As sustainability is a hot topic in the watch industry, we have launched new models for solar-powered movements such as solar-powered chronographs. Established in 1983, Renley is a staunch supporter of the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair. Through last year’s fair, we secured a new customer from Georgia who has strong buying power for high-end automated watches. At this year’s fair, our main goals are to promote our OEM service and develop emerging markets such as the Middle East and the Belt and Road countries and regions. Iran is one of the emerging markets that we want to develop. We are happy to have found a potential buyer from Iran via the Click2Match platform. Buyer traffic is better than last year. More existing customers from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the US have come to our booth to select new models and tell us their requirements. One of our existing customers placed an onsite order for new models especially for Christmas. In response to consumer concern about environment protection, we also offer eco-friendly watches using sustainable watch straps made from ocean plastics and recycled stainless steel.

We have set up a pop up store under the theme of Guo Chao again at Salon de TIME to display eight famous watch brands from Mainland China. These brands offer a diverse range of watches including traditional brands incorporating Chinese elements, fashionable watches designed for young people, and Kidult watches. We have received positive feedback not only from local buyers and consumers but also from overseas buyers including those from the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Salon de TIME provides an important platform for watch brands from Mainland China to enhance their local and international exposure. The concept of opening Salon de TIME to the public during the entire fair period is perfect. We can promote our brands to local consumers and interact with them. Local consumers can come here to buy existing models and enjoy early bird offers for ordering new models. We expect that we can achieve six-digit onsite sales turnover.

Each year, our company sends a representative to the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and Salon de Time to meet our existing business partners and look for new OEM suppliers and new brands. So far, I have found four potential OEM suppliers of automatic watches and already placed an order with one of these new suppliers for US$50,000 worth of automatic watches. I am still negotiating with the other three new suppliers. I plan to buy US$125,000 worth of automatic watches through this year’s Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair. This time I have tried the Scan2Match feature which is easy to use and saves suppliers’ information quickly in the HKTDC Marketplace App.

We are a wholesaler of watch parts, batteries and fixing tools in New Zealand. We started to distribute branded watches last year. This is my second time visiting the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and Salon de TIME. I keep coming back because I found not only good suppliers of watch parts but also new brands at last year’s fair. At this year’s fair, I’ll place orders with four suppliers from France and Hong Kong for US$24,100 worth of stainless-steel straps, rubber straps, watch glass, movements, fixing tools and batteries. I see the potential of branded watches in New Zealand. I’ll create a new brand for children watches and plan to place an order for US$8,000 worth of children watches with an OEM supplier from Hong Kong. In addition, I am also interested in three international watch brands and want to be their distributors. It’s worthwhile visiting the twin fairs.

I have already confirmed onsite orders worth US$48,000 in total with three suppliers and I plan to place an order for 500-1,000 pieces of stainless-steel watches with another new supplier. Stainless steel watches with green watch dials are gaining in popularity in our market and I am so happy to have found suitable suppliers here. The new Scan2Match function allows me to keep the list of my favourite suppliers in the HKTDC Marketplace App easily.

We have found three potential suppliers of watches and eco-friendly straps. We are thinking to add eco-friendly straps which are made from corn, vegan leather and recycled bottles to our watches.
