HKTDC launches International Healthcare Week
The third International Healthcare Week (IHW), organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), takes place from 15 to 31 May. The week’s flagship event, the Asia Summit on Global Health (ASGH), co-organised by the Hong Kong SAR Government (HKSAR) and HKTDC, will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) on 16 and 17 May. Another flagship event, the Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair (Medical Fair), will run concurrently from 16 to 18 May, highlighting Hong Kong’s strengths in healthcare.
Healthcare Week boon for medical industry
Global healthcare sector leaders streamed into Hong Kong for the second International Healthcare Week, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). As the flagship Healthcare Week events, the third Asia Summit on Global Health (ASGH) and the 14th Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair (Medical Fair) featured fruitful discussions on a wide range of topics including the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as an innovation powerhouse, complemented by exchanges on Chinese-Western medicine, aging and women innovators. Seven concurrent trade fairs close, attracting 16,000+ onsite buyers
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) brought its seven autumn trade fairs* together onto a single “physical + online” platform in 2021. The physical fairs ended today, attracting more than 16,000 industry buyers to visit in person and conduct business discussions, while the online fairs run until 6 November. To date, more than 3,000 meetings have been arranged while close to 12,000 buyers browsed products and conducted business discussions online.
