We hope to connect with buyers from the Middle East at this exhibition, expanding into new international markets, with sales expectations ranging from $1 million to $3 million.
This fair is one of the best platforms globally for jewellery because it provides everything that you desire. I have been participating in the event for 10 to 12 years and appreciate the platform provided in Hong Kong.I used the e-Badge online registration via the Marketplace App, which was smooth and hassle-free, sparing me from long queues for entry to the fair.
We have participated in this event for nearly thirty years. In the past, we primarily targeted European and American clients, but we are focusing on Middle Eastern clients this year. I expect the revenue from this event to see a 20% increase compared to last year.
We have engaged with clients from Russia, South Korea and Mainland China. Our sales performance at the exhibition has increased three times compared to last year.
We have been exhibiting at HKTDC International Jewellery Show for more than 15 years. This sales success has motivated us to continue our participation in this show.
HKTDC is a very professional organizer and a very good partner to work with. If this market is growing, HKTDC contributes to a very big part of this success.
Fortunately we have been able to close some deals. It is only the second day of the show but we are pretty satisfied with how things have been going. Most of the buyers we met were from various parts of the world, including the Middle East, different regions of Asia, USA and Europe.
The biggest benefit of participating in this show is that HKTDC has offices around the world, which helps us identify growing markets and encourages relevant customers from those markets to attend the event. For example, the Middle East is one of these growing markets, and HKTDC provides an opportunity for us to understand and get to know it better. Therefore, one of our target customer groups this year is clients from the Middle East.
We are looking at a stable sales growth and the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show plays a key role in offering opportunities to boost our sales in Asia especially when the second-hand jewellery market is so strong now.
The Hong Kong Jewelry Exhibition has a long history and is also the largest exhibition in the world. We have participated in this exhibition for five consecutive years. Our main purpose is to understand the market and expand our customer base through this exhibition, especially targeting emerging markets and clients from the Middle East. Through the Click2Match online platform, we received numerous inquiries related to this exhibition before it started. I believe that the large sales orders generated from this exhibition accounts for about 30% of our total orders.
We connect with a diverse clientele from the US, Middle East, Europe, and Asia. The Marketplace app is helpful, especially for customers. With pre-registration, customers can enter the show quickly and avoid fatigue from waiting.
This fair is important for us as well for two reasons. One reason is that it is very international so you can meet customers from all over the world and the second reason is that it is for us pretty much the only chance to meet Chinese customers. For 40 years, the fair has been our gateway to Asia not only in terms of selling but also in terms of buying. We buy a lot of products here
I appreciate this exhibition because it attracts a diverse group of clients from Asia, including Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. On the first day of the exhibition, I sensed that this year's business prospects would be promising. I believe this event has exceeded my expectations. I consider this show to be one of the best in the world, with HKTDC’s clear and reasonable organization and layout.
This is our first time joining this show, we can reach out to people from the USA, India, and China, I think this show acts as an international platform for us.
We use Marketplace app for registration and verification. It is convenient and useful for us.
So far, I’ve spent about US$30,000 at this fair, but I definitely plan to place more orders, aiming to spend a total of US$100,000. I’ve been purchasing from various suppliers in Hong Kong, including Splendor Jewelry Limited, and I’ve also made significant buys with suppliers from Miami and Las Vegas during this show.
I think the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show in March is one of the biggest and the most important fair not only in Asia but also in the world. It is very important to attend this show for networking and understanding industry trends and prices. I have placed an order of over US$ 400,000 for high-quality Australian pearls. We target to secure another order of up to about US$4 million during the exhibition.
We've spent approximately US$90,000 at HKDGP, and here at the HKIJS, I've spent US$7,500. I’m planning to order a diamond bracelet costing around US$35,000 as well. In total, I aim to spend about US$150,000 for the entire event. I use the marketplace platform, which has been very helpful. Scanning details allows me to save contact information directly on my phone, making it easier to stay in touch with people, rather than relying on business cards that can easily get lost.
I am mainly finding Hong Kong suppliers and a few suppliers in India, the USA, and Europe. I think Hong Kong acts as a one-shop stop platform where you can find everything from technical, to design and packaging. I have already made around six orders and I will continue to shop. This year, I expect that I can spend around US$1 million. If I can find the right supplier, I can even spend around 15 million for that supplier.
At this fair, I don’t need to travel around to source pieces from different regions. I can get jewelry from Japan, China, Hong Kong or even all other countries. I spent roughly US$150,000 on diamond jewelry and colored stone jewelry on the first day. Moreover, I made 7 business matches on the Click2match platform and purchased from 6 of them. It is very useful.
We have already placed orders for at least US$100,000 from this fair. The pricing of the products here is very good. Most of the suppliers we met are from Hong Kong and China. Through the Click2Match platform, HKTDC arranged 4-5 meetings for us, and we finally placed orders with them. When we registered before coming to the show, we used the marketplace app to assist us. It is so convenient to avoid the time of queuing.
This year, our primary focus is on acquiring jade and pearls. Our budget for purchasing jewelry at this show is set between US$100,000 and US$200,000. The HKTDC shows serve as a one-stop procurement platform for us.
The Hong Kong International Jewelry Fair is 100% the best in the world. The main objective for us is to meet suppliers from Taiwan, Thailand, and Hong Kong. We will spend at least half a million to a million dollars. I have already placed orders for jewelry and blue stones. Using the Click2Match and e-plus platforms, we successfully completed about ten deals.
