Australian designer Nadia Neuman won the highest honour, “Champion of the Champions”, with her design named “The Kaleidoscope”. Design with interchangeable components, can be worn in a number of ways and features a fully functioning kaleidoscope. It showcases the beauty and versatility of natural coloured diamonds in both polished and rough forms.

Innovative and Uniqueness in Design Award

Description:
Taiwanese designer Ying Chen CHEN captured the Innovative and Uniqueness in Design Award. The inspiration for her piece “Summer Night Celebration” comes from the mystical Barringtonia flower – night fairy of summer. As dusk falls, she blooms in quiet elegance, only to gently descend with the first light of dawn. Though her existence is fleeting, she shines like fireworks and breathtakingly beautiful. As a jewelry designer, CHEN often ask herself: what can I leave behind in this world? Perhaps, through her creations, she can transform those fleeting moments of emotion into eternal beauty.

Craftsmanship Award

Description:
The Craftsmanship Award was presented to Hong Kong designer CHAN Hoi Yi. Her design was inspired by the Proverb of my favorite philosopher XunZi: "Born of blue, but better than blue." Blue dye was distilled from indigo plant, but dye was bluer than the plant itself; The knowledge taught by teacher, make the students surpass the teacher himself. CHAN admires the vague elegance in this proverb. It's humble, pure, not flashy, with a scent of scholarly temperament, with goodwill and charm. It may sound a bit naive and idealistic today, but that’s what she wants to express in this jewellery.

Russian designer Mariia EFIMOVA won recognition with the Aesthetics Award for her piece “Contemplation”.
