The HKSAR Government has lifted the post-arrival nucleic acid testing requirement and the Provisional Vaccine Pass arrangement. Click here for the latest health measures!
The Hong Kong SAR (HKSAR) Government has further relaxed the COVID-19 rules for inbound travellers by lifting the amber code restrictions. Those from overseas and Taiwan entering via Hong Kong International Airport with negative PCR test result can freely access any premises upon their arrival, including participating in exhibitions and conferences. Inbound travellers are still required to undergo nucleic acid tests on Day 2 and daily RATs for five days, and show vaccination records before entering restaurants. In addition, travellers going to the Mainland China and Macao are no longer required to undergo a PCR test at the border, but need to obtain a negative test result 48 hours before departure. We are thrilled to see you at the upcoming HKTDC fairs and conferences in Hong Kong!

Following consultation with industry representatives and key stakeholders, the Food Expo and four concurrent fairs: the Hong Kong International Tea Fair, Home Delights Expo, Beauty & Wellness Expo and Hong Kong Lifestyle Showcase had to be rescheduled from their original August dates in the interest of public health and safety, which is our top priority in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
These five fairs will be rescheduled for 28 January to 1 February 2021 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, coinciding with the Education and Careers Expo (28 to 31 January 2021).
While preparatory work for the fairs is underway, we will promptly notify all stakeholders and exhibitors if any subsequent changes arise, to allow them sufficient time to get prepared.
On 28 December 2020, a month before the fairs’ opening day, we will assess if the five fairs should proceed based on the prevailing situation and risks. This will be followed by a final evaluation and decision on 21 January 2021, a week before the fairs open and shortly before the exhibitors move in, to minimise as far as possible any extra expenses that exhibitors might have to make.
Through the Convention and Exhibition Industry Subsidy Scheme (C&E Scheme) under the Anti-epidemic Fund, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government will subsidise exhibitors’ participation in the rescheduled Food Expo and the concurrent fairs, subject to a cap of HK$100,000 per exhibitor according to the terms of C&E Scheme.
We would like to thank the HKSAR Government, the general public, exhibitors, co-organisers, supporting organisations and partners for their tremendous support for HKTDC events. We will continue to make every effort to help companies capture business opportunities through different platforms.

In view of the latest epidemic situation, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government gazetted a further tightening of various disease prevention and control measures on 13 July. As the safety and health of exhibitors and general public is our top priority, following discussions with industry representatives, a decision has been made to reschedule Food Expo and four other concurrent public events, namely the Hong Kong International Tea Fair, Home Delights Expo, Beauty & Wellness Expo, and Hong Kong Lifestyle Showcase (previously scheduled for 13-17 August). The HKTDC is in contact with various stakeholders to discuss the rescheduling arrangements. Details will be announced as soon as possible.
The HKTDC expresses its sincere gratitude to the general public, exhibitors, co-organisers and supporting organisations, and partners for their support and understanding during this challenging time.
