Eco Expo Asia opens at AsiaWorld-Expo in late October
Green innovation and tech aim to achieve dual carbon goals
Jenny Koo, Assistant Executive Director of the HKTDC, introduced Eco Expo Asia highlights at the press conference. She said Hong Kong’s environmental-related industries were expanding in diversity, establishing the groundwork for the city’s sustainable development.
The Chief Executive’s 2024 Policy Address released yesterday emphasises the need to promote the development of new energy and expand the electric vehicle charging network. Ms Koo stated that the HKTDC has been committed to promoting sustainable development in the business sector. In October, the HKTDC will work closely with the Environmental and Ecology Bureau to hold Eco Expo Asia, and provide support services and sourcing platforms to assist industry players in promoting and sourcing green products and solutions. In addition to Eco Expo Asia, the HKTDC aims to facilitate international connections through large-scale flagship events, promoting Hong Kong's role as an international centre for green finance and green technology
