32nd Hong Kong Book Fair attracts 850,000 visitors
Three major exhibitions are a big success, more events to come
The Hong Kong Book Fair drew to a successful close today. The seven-day event attracted 850,000 visitors
Exhibitors presented books related to theme of the year – “History and City Literature”
Visitors show great interest in buying books written by the celebrated late novelist Ni Kuang
The “Eight Seminar Series” was one of the highlights at the Book Fair, providing booklovers with the chance to interact with renowned writers
The “Storytelling by Celebrities” events continued to be a great parent-child activity. The picture shows the session hosted by former Chinese champion diver Guo Jing-jing where she shared inspirational stories with children
Authors from Mainland China, Taiwan and overseas shared their writing experiences via video conferencing
Four thematic exhibitions were staged at the Art Gallery including “History Writers”, “City Literature”, “Tastes of Hong Kong” and “Hong Kong Architecture”, each of which featured precious collections
Various trials and interactive experiences were on offer at the Hong Kong Sports and Leisure Expo
The Hong Kong Sports and Leisure Expo featured a range of live events. The Japan National Tourism Organization, nine Japanese prefectures and KADOKAWA Group exhibited in the Japan Pavilion, showcasing the country’s attractions and traditional culture
World of Snacks featured six thematic zones, bringing together more than 1,200 popular treats from across the globe. The event also offered visitors a chance to make their own snacks, which proved highly popular
