Since its establishment in 2017, Liffy has actively participated in Home InStyle, previously known as the Hong Kong Houseware Fair. Home InStyle is very important to our business development because all our overseas customers come from this fair. Our home and garden decorations are exported mainly to Australia, Europe and the US. At this year’s fair, we have met with new buyers from Europe, Taiwan and the US who are very interested in our glass decorations. Two new buyers from the UK and the US are very likely to place orders for our products worth US$40,000 in total. We expect more buyers to visit our booth in the next three days of the fair. We have also tried the Click2Match platform which provides an effective way for us to set up meetings with potential buyers before the fair.”
Specialising in the production of fine embroidered linens, Paramount is a long-term supporter of the Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair, now merged into Home InStyle. This year I am happy to have got in touch with a diversity of new buyers from Australia, the Czech Republic, India, Taiwan and Thailand. Thanks to the HKTDC’s continued efforts to improve the Click2Match platform, it opens up a new avenue for me to explore business opportunities. I have met with two potential buyers in person through the Click2Match meetings. The fair has helped me to expand into new markets like the Czech Republic. A buyer from the Czech Republic has placed a trial order worth US$14,000 for my new nautical collection. I expect five to six new orders worth US$50,000-60,000 to come after the fair. As the Click2Match online show will run until 30 April, I’ll continue virtual discussions with buyers who are interested in buying home textiles. Meanwhile, the new Scan2Match function allows me to send online messages to buyers who have scanned my QR code.
Backed by nearly 1,000 manufacturers, our company provides the world’s largest supply chain platform for the bamboo product industry. As the largest houseware fair in Asia, Home InStyle is a perfect platform for us to promote our bamboo products and our brand to global buyers. Participating in Home InStyle for the first time is our first important step in developing our export business. International buying groups led by the HKTDC have visited our booth. We have made new contacts with buyers from Australia, Germany, Russia, Spain and Ukraine. Buyers’ responses have exceeded our expectations. Three new buyers have expressed their intention in cooperating with us. It is a very successful fair. We are interested in joining the fair again next year.
We are a non-profit organisation offering 3D design training to different ability people and hiring them as 3D designers so that they can contribute to the society. It is meaningful for us to participate in the fair for the first time because it helps to promote social inclusion and raise awareness. The Cultural and Creative Corner is the right place for different ability people to introduce their newly designed home decor and demonstrate their creativity. As a special highlight of Home InStyle, the beautifully decorated Cultural and Creative Corner has attracted international buyers to visit our booth. We are happy to have met with new buyers from Mainland China and Southeast Asia. We have also initiated discussion with the Hong Kong Design Institute on future cooperation with our students.
Rivatti sells furniture, home decorations and interior design services to customers in Latin America. As a first time visitor, I think Home InStyle is a more international trade fair bringing together exhibitors from different countries and regions as compared to the furniture fairs that I visit in Mainland China every year. I am very interested in coffee tables, fire-proof ceiling lamps, felt chairs, storage baskets and decorative lamps offered by 10-12 potential suppliers from Bangladesh, Mainland China and Sri Lanka. I plan to place orders worth US$125,000-200,000 with these new suppliers between August and September this year. The Scan2Match function is easy to use and allows me to keep track of suppliers’ information. Home InStyle provides a good timing for me to find new products for my next year’s product catalogues. I’ll come again next year.
We are a leading home product retailer in India which has 30 physical shops and an online store. Home InStyle is a wonderful show which is much larger and more international than last year. This time I am impressed by the design and quality of ceramic dinner ware, cups and coffee mugs from two good suppliers. I am going to place orders worth US$41,000 with them. The Cultural and Creative Zone is full of inspirations and creative ideas. I have seen some interesting designs for drink ware, stoneware dinnerware and blown glass vases and plan to develop business with these suppliers. As it is easy to come to Hong Kong and my existing suppliers are here, Home InStyle is a one-stop sourcing platform. Scan2Match is a brilliant function to bookmark favourite suppliers, so I don’t need to keep their business cards. The two seminars that I attended are inspiring and let me keep abreast of the latest trends.”
Kitchenshop has 17 stores in Romania and two stores in Hungary and we also distribute to major hypermarkets. Home InStyle offers more choices and more OEM suppliers for our private labels. So far, we have found three to five potential suppliers of home textiles, non-stick cast iron cookware and aluminum cookware with ceramic coating which come with nice designs and good quality. As less plastic and less waste become important trends in our markets, we prefer to choose non-plastic products and good quality products which are more durable. Home InStyle can meet all our sourcing needs. We plan to purchase US$50,000 worth of cookware and home textiles from good suppliers that we have found at this fair. The new Scan2Match function makes it easier for us to keep in touch with potential suppliers through the HKTDC Marketplace App.
