Small Hail and Ota Clan Family Pattern Kettle by Nizaemon 

Nizaemon is the most important Kamashi in Nambu, and their works are highly sought after by dignitaries.

The inscription on this kettle is the work of the sixth and seventh generations of Nizaemon. The family pattern on the kettle showed that it was used by the Ota clan of the Japanese feudal town (founded in the 15th century). 

The capacity of the kettle is quite large (more than 2,000 cc), and judging from the quality of the work and condition of the kettle, it is undoubtedly a century-old work.

 As for whether it is the sixth generation or the seventh generation, there is no need to look into it. The seventh generation died earlier than the sixth generation, so their works can be regarded as contemporaneous.

It is a museum grade old tetsubin hardly found in the market today.
