Majola™ is the grade of some of the finest teas from the Majola Tea Estates. The tea comes from trees untouched by chemical fertilizers for close to a decade. This is a tea that will someday fetch greater value in the market place through its agronomical potential, and the fact that we can work tirelessly to make it organically certified. But for now, it is the tea of the people, it is available to the local markets and beyond as our economic grade of fine strong tea.
The tea estate is situated at the Majola Community land in the Manzamhlophe Tribal Assembly in Port St. Johns. It’s incorporation into the Magwa™ Tea Estate was motivated by the need for business and economic efficiencies; the two estates now operate as a single economic unit.
Black Tea: Dark, malty flavor with a deep aroma, a bit nutty and definitely a bold taste of tea that leaves no after taste or your teeth feeling heavy.
Loose Tea: Made from the best quality tea leaves, giving a stronger, more flavorsome infusion in a shorter time created by the direct touch of the boiling water and the tea leaves in the traditional pot brewing style on the stove.
