We focus on the high-end and premium market with products ranging from bed linens to duvets, pillows and other home accessories. This is our debut at Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair to support our overseas expansion. We take advantage of this platform to introduce our newly-developed CoolPro duvet collection that is made of sustainable materials to ensure a comfortable sleep even on a hot summer night. The new collection will be officially launched next month. The feedback has been excellent. A number of buyers from different places have come forward to express interest in our products. They include retailers and traders from Korea, Brazil, Turkey, Serbia and Czech Republic. This is a good start and we are positive about developing business with them.

Pujiang is famous for the manufacturing of high-quality quilted textile products. Our company is trying to extend overseas presence through the Hong Kong fair as a large number of buyers from all over the world gather here to find new products. The response has been better than expected. We’ve met with some buyers from different places such as Australia and Indonesia as well as Hong Kong-based international trading companies. This fair is definitely a convenient meeting place to meet global buyers and expand business.

Established in 2006, Tongxiang Haomeijian specialises in the production of mulberry silk quilts, bedding sets, covers, pillows and cushions. We always strive to develop new items to enrich our product range. New designs include silk eyeshades and small pillows with mini-sized silk quilt inside. This is our debut at Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair to expand presence in Southeast Asia and the overseas market. At present, our products are sold under own brand Tangchao mainly in Mainland China. We’ve attracted a lot of attention at the fair. Two Taiwanese retailers have expressed serious interest in our mulberry silk quilts. One of them is looking to purchase about 500 sets. Some buyers from other countries including Poland and Germany have also made enquiry about our products. This fair can really help us secure new customers and grow overseas business. The results are encouraging. We look forward to finalising business development with the new customers we’ve met here.

We currently export a variety of textile products from bed sheets to towels and garments to different markets including Europe, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Turkey. Our showcase at the Hong Kong fair is part of our campaign to get new customers and penetrate new markets. We have already got in touch with many new contacts including buyers from Mainland China, India, Poland, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. They have expressed strong interest in exploring business opportunities with us. This is a good fair. We are happy with the exposure we’ve gained here and would like to showcase again next year.

Last year, we successfully concluded business with several new buyers from Indonesia and other countries. We hope to achieve good results again. This fair can really drive our business development.

Founded by my grandfather in 1963, Paramount specialises in the production of fine embroidered linens. Products range from table linens to placemats, table runners and napkins. USA and Europe are major markets but we are expanding presence in Southeast Asia. We have been exhibiting at Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair for seven years. The response is satisfactory this year. We’ve met with buyers from Malaysia, Indonesia and other Southeast Asian countries. Two buyers from Mainland China and a Hong Kong company have also expressed interest in our collections. Among them is a major department store group from Qingdao who intends to purchase our embroidered napkins. Large clients usually prefer less variety but bigger quantity when it comes to ordering. Other customers want more variety and smaller quantity each item. We can deal with these orders flexibly. This is a great fair attracting so many buyers from different parts of the world to do business. We will definitely continue to exhibit in the fair.

This is a good fair. Everything has been well managed and efficiently run here. We will participate in the fair again next year to grow our presence.

It now covers 14 countries worldwide with e-commerce platforms operating independently. This is our first visit to Hong Kong International Home Textiles & Furnishings Fair to find new suppliers. On the first day of exhibition, I’ve already got in touch with two Indian exhibitors supplying handmade rugs through the business matching meetings. We will discuss further on the pricing and design specifications to conclude business. The concurrent Hong Kong Houseware Fair also offers some interesting products. I’ve identified two Taiwanese suppliers of kitchenware items such as baskets and shelving products. These two fairs have a lot on offer. I am confident of finding more products and more suppliers at the fairground. This is a very rewarding journey.

This fair is a perfect place to establish contact with suppliers and learn about the market trends.

On the first day of exhibition, I've found three new suppliers from Hong Kong and Mainland China for silk bedding sets and kitchen items through the business matching meetings. We will place bigger orders that usually range from US$20,000 to US$200,000 each depending on products. The Hong Kong fair has a lot to offer. Everything looks better than expected. I am positive about finding more suppliers. I would like to visit the fair again to explore more opportunities.

So far, we’ve identified five to six new suppliers for various items including a Thai exhibitor for emulsion pillows. We’ve found some good quality fabrics at the booth of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan. The mulberry silk quilts showcased by Zhejiang Lizun Home Textile Co., Ltd looks really nice and we expect to place big orders after further studies and internal discussions with our purchasing committee. This fair has a diversity of exhibitors from different areas such as Southeast Asia and the Middle East, providing some interesting choices. Everything is well organised here and we hope to visit the fair again.

This is my second-year visit to Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair to source new products. I have found three new suppliers from India for rugs and carpets. They will send over the pricing details. The amount of orders will be subject to further negotiation. Normal orders are usually about US$20,000 each. I really love this fair that gathers everything under one roof. I can find a diversity of exhibitors and products in different styles from different countries such as India, Mainland, Thailand and Vietnam. One of my colleagues is visiting the concurrent Hong Kong Houseware Fair for home decoration, tableware and other homeware items. At our visit last year, we concluded deals with three new suppliers. We are positive about developing business with more suppliers this year.

Through the business matching meetings, we’ve got in touch with two Indian exhibitors and one Mainland China supplier for some rotating cushions and home accessories. Their workmanship is very good. Further discussions will be held with them on our design requirements to work out something unique for us. We are going to meet more exhibitors at the fairground for more items such as bathroom mats, towels, carpets and curtains. This is a good place to explore collaboration and new opportunities. We will come again and hope to find more partners through the business matching service.

An average order usually involves a mix of different items as we prefer more variety to meet customers’ preferences. These two fairs feature a lot of interesting and innovative products. Their design looks great and the pricing appears to be reasonable. We like the HKTDC fairs and will come again to find more suppliers.
