During the first two days, we have already met with 50 to 60 buyers, with 60% from the Asia-Pacific region and 40% from Europe, particularly from Eastern European countries like Russia, the Czech Republic and Poland. We also connected with a high-quality buyer from Australia through the Click2Match platform, and we have initially agreed to discuss long-term cooperation. Additionally, we secured a partnership with a buyer from Papua New Guinea, a local listed company with over 10 stores, and we are discussing an initial order worth approximately US$50,000. We are quite pleased with these results.
We have met with around 2-3 potential buyers from Taiwan nursing homes, and Korea on the first half day. We surely will follow up with them. One Indian buyer might apply our robotics hand into other industries. This fair keeps me updated on the market trends, latest components, and technologies. I could incorporate them into our products and make them easier to use and cost-effective. The Click2match platform is useful for building up connections with those who couldn’t come here in person. I will certainly be backed.
We are here to find new suppliers and reconnect with old ones, who are mostly based in Taiwan, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou. We are particularly interested in the exhibitors here. There’s a great variety of vendors and new technology, which I find amazing. I was using the Click2Match and Exhibition Plus platform. It's a good way to keep track of which booths you’ve visited.
I have been participating in the fair for over 20 years and I think the line-up of the fair this year is getting better and better since COVID and it’s amazing. I enjoy going to the Hall of Fame to discover new ideas and products. We’ve done a lot of business this year. It's been a long time since we made such large purchases. We spent over 2 million dollars in the past two days alone on small consumer electronics like charging cables, power banks, and speakers. I think we’ll have even more orders next year, as I’ve discovered new product categories.
