Agile solutions for the textile, clothing and fashion industry to address climate change
Open Lab, a pioneering initiative by the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA) and H&M Foundation, aims to further drive the sustainable development of the textile and fashion industry. It is a part of the Planet First programme (2020-2024), the second collaboration programme between HKRITA and H&M Foundation.
Physical Lab
It consists of a physical R&D space and a technological database covering over 80 sustainable projects. The physical Open Lab, 20,000 sq ft in size, is located in the Advanced Manufacturing Centre (AMC) in Tseung Kwan O InnoPark.
